More Than Just His Appearance
It’s easy to focus on a person’s unusual physical characteristics when looking at a viral photograph.
But behind every photograph is a real person.
The boy wasn’t born to become an internet curiosity. He was simply born, grew up, went to school, made friends, experienced ordinary childhood moments, and eventually continued into the next stages of life.
His unusual hair may have been one of the first things people noticed about him, but it certainly doesn’t define everything about who he is.
That’s an important lesson when discussing people whose appearances attract unusual attention.
A person should always be more than the feature that made their photograph go viral.
