James Johnson spent his long nights at work using disposable electronic cigarettes, also under the name Puff, sold for about 14 euros each. According to him, each e-cigarette lasted only two days.

“I was working 17 hours a day and staying awake all the time, so I vaped a lot,” he says. This constant and intense habit led James to serious complications, despite his young age and his initial good physical condition, explains The Mirror

His friends had warned him about the health risks of vaping. However, James thought he was safe from serious consequences. This thought has led him to a critical situation, leaving him with only one working lung and a severely shortened life prognosis if he does not change his lifestyle habits.

James’ situation escalated abruptly one night when he started vomiting blood. He was rushed to intensive care and placed on oxygen, before being put in a coma in an attempt to save his lungs.
