What About Honey, Olive Oil, or Black Radish Juice?
These are sometimes promoted as natural constipation remedies, but the evidence is not equally strong.
Honey may have a mild osmotic effect in some people, and olive oil may be easy to include in a balanced diet, but neither is a proven replacement for fiber, fluids, movement, or appropriate laxative treatment.
Black radish juice has much less evidence as a standard constipation treatment.
