I gave 100 euros to a young woman who was asking for milk for her baby; a month later I found out who she really was.

Now he seemed to be ashamed of anyone who needed help.

Several days passed.

He had lost two big contracts.

One project was behind schedule.

And it needed funding to keep employees and suppliers up to date.

He left that morning feeling nervous.

At half past eleven I received a call.

-Yeah.

—Your husband has suffered a medical emergency.

I felt my legs stop responding.

Alberto had collapsed during the meeting.

An ambulance took him to the hospital.

When I arrived he was conscious, but the doctors suspected a heart problem and were running tests.
