On August 28, 2026, Céline Dion arrived at the Royal Monceau, accompanied by her twins Nelson and Eddy. On September 10, her eldest son joined them, and he wasn’t alone: Angelique Weckenmann was also part of the trip. The couple was photographed in front of the hotel, getting out of their car.
This appearance is not the first. René-Charles’s partner had already accompanied the family when the Quebec singer attended the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. The eldest of the siblings, aged 25, remains a close supporter of his mother, and his partner now shares these family moments. Two years later, she is expected to be in the front row for the opening night on September 12 at the Plénitude Arena in Nanterre, where the singer will begin a series of sixteen concerts.
From the Las Vegas ice rink to a real estate degree
Angelique Weckenmann’s story has long remained in the shadows. Born in 2001, the same year as René-Charles, she crossed paths with him in 2016 at the Las Vegas Ice Center. At the time, both around fifteen years old, she practiced figure skating while he played on the ice with a local hockey team.
